If you're craving a burger, come here, unless you're a locovore. If you're a locovore or craving fries, go to Boardwalk down the street. Both do a fine job, but they trade spots for "good" and "great" on each item. The infinite variable Coke fountain is cool, as are the free peanuts. Ultimately, it's as good a burger at a sit down or a bar, but faster and a couple bucks cheaper.

This is the closest Five Guys to my home location. This location seems to be a bit more noisy than other locations, and it's simply because they keep the music up a little too loud when they're on a roll cooking up a storm. No real worries, it's 80's music!!! Staff are friendly and attentive here, and they have yet to fret over a special request for cooking the onions a bit extra or giving me crunchy peppers. Overall Five Guys always is on the spot for your messy burger fix.

I went back to Five Guys today. I still feel the same as I did when I wrote my original review. Everything was good, but Boardwalk Fries makes better fries. I ordered a regular burger instead of a little burger today. It was way too much food for me, and I'm a girl who can EAT. The next time I visit, I'll order the little burger and bring a friend to share my fries with.

Just like any other five guys

Sometimes a girl just wants a burger for lunch. With fries. And a soda. This five guys location is super convenient for anyone working in the Sandy Springs area. There's always parking and I've never had a long wait for my food. The trader joe's is right next door, making quick stops to pick up last minute groceries on your lunch break a breeze. My favorite part of this Five Guys is the ginormous Coca-Cola machine (there's two of them!) with the multitude of flavors (rasberry, orange, vanilla, diet, regular and everything in between).

New to the area & kept hearing about 5Guys Burgers. Ordered a Bacon cheese burger because I haven't had bacon in years but, was craving it today. Decided to have a cheat day so I purchased it. My total was $14.10. Arrived home to find NO bacon on my burger at all, salted fries, mushroom that I did not order on my burger. This place has great customer service & great reviews but I'm just a little un-happy since I did not get what I ordered. For $14.10 just for a combo, I could have gone across the street to Wendy's & paid less. Not happy but; I may try them again since they have great customer service. Oh, I left a tip too in the tip jar. NOTE: maybe they should let you see ur burger before they wrap it up so tightly & throw it in the bag with all those fries on top of it? this way, you can confirm your order before you drive all the way home! Thanks

I have been trying to understand just why on this lovely earth people find burgers from here to be amazing, excellent, appetizing, delicious and whatever other pleasing word description comes to their mind when they talk about Five Guys' burgers. The only words that came to my mind were, "Golly gee, this is a nice sized burger!" *After eating said burger* "What the heck is everyone raving about?! It was oh so blah and just okay. I think ravers and hype people need to get their taste buds in check! They must have been on the ganja. Ohh, well that makes sense. Psh, stoners..." 5 Guys is just 5 LIES that people told me!! -_- Well, at least the cajun fries were good.

My go-to: Little Cheeseburger, all the way. It's a tasty burger and it's messy, but it's always consistent no matter which location. This location on Roswell Rd has the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Duly-noted the next time I want a burger and some raspberry ginger ale. There's not much else to say except that they're always generous with the french fries and it's a good burger in a pinch. It won't make you feel healthier than let's say McDonald's or Burger King, but at least the meat wasn't frozen. Forget the fact that you're paying a little more. Life is short.

I'm from CA and I practically drool whenever IN-N-Out is mentioned. When I moved here, I asked what is around for the same type of burger meal. Five Guys kept coming up so I finally tried it after a hard gym sesh. LITTLE CHEESEBURGER Little?! Who said this is little? It's the size of a normal burger at a restaurant! The meat was ok, not too flavorful. The cheese and ketchup were fine...but nothing worth noting like the spread in the In-n-Out burger. It was very mediocre to me. Bun was also soggy so I should have ordered a protein burger to make it worthwhile. FRIES They are supposedly fresh and hand cut. For me, they were soggy and even though I didn't think they were bad...the 2nd day fries retoasted with my jalapeno ketchup dip at home was better. Overall...$12 for this?! In-n-out costs $6 for the same thing. Not the same guys. Not the same. PEANUTS Were the saving grace. They were very very good and salty. Too bad I didn't have a milkshake or beer to go with it.

Love the burgers over here. Missed eating five guys cheeseburgers. One of the juiciest burgers in town. Don't forget to have roasted peanuts while you are waiting. Oh! The large fries servings is plenty for 3-4.

Just walked out. Staff wanted to "joke" about being closed until 4:30 because they ran out of beef. We had 6 paying afults and a child with us. I'll be getting to get a manager abd/or area supervisor on the phone on Monday. The food might have been great, but with a poor staff who don't know how to be professional, who knows?

    (1)
  • Zach O.

Well it's Five Guys, okay burgers, crappy service like normal. Bacon was precooked, burger kind of dry. I don't know why I expect something different.

Excellent food, fries, and coke freestyle! What more can I say about Five Guys, there food is exceptional! I had a bacon cheeseburger with onions, mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, and Cajun fries on the side. Best lunch after a day of fishing or hiking! Best burger on the east coast since we don't have In-N-Out Burger, but still damn good all the same.

"You know what they put on French fries in Holland instead of ketchup? What? Mayonnaise." -- Pulp Fiction (1994) The In-N-Out of the South, Y'all! First, the peanuts. They have peanuts in the shell to keep you munching while you wait - make sure to grab some. The burgers. Greasy, but not too much. The cheese is all melty and delicious and fills the crevices of the burger just so. You can get just about anything on the burger you like too - mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, even grilled onions and mushrooms. Bacon is always an option for extra. The hot dogs - yes, hot dogs. Delicious. But somehow I am always swayed when I walk in the door and change my mind when I smell the burgers and order them instead. The fries - they make killer fries. You can tell they are fresh (not frozen) as there are bags and bags of potatoes stacked around the restaurant as proof. They don't peel them (awesome) and the salt level is just perfect. Everything is cooked to order, nothing sits and waits. The staff is super friendly, attentive and they always get my order right. I love this joint. Now, as with INO, there is a "secret" menu. It is different (no Animal-style here). Here is what you can get, that you probably aren't aware of: 1) Cheese fries - they will cover those fries in melty cheese - yum 2) Veggie Hot Dogs, Veggie Burgers - Most Five Guys restaurants offer veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs - just ask your server what's available when you order. However, a Veggie burger is usually just all the fixings without the patty. 3) Grilled Cheese - another meatless option! They will let you add all the toppings on it - grilled mushrooms and onions are perfect. 4) Double-Double? Triple-Triple? They'll do it. 5) Well-done fries - triple fried. I've heard it ordered. They'll do it. 6) Cajun Fries - exactly as it sounds (though some locations have this listed now) Note - fries are fried in peanut oil - so if you have a peanut allergy (this plus the peanuts flying around), you should probably steer clear!!

A lot of food! Forgot that the cheeseburger is a double burger and the little fries order has a large quantity of fries. Loved the freestyle Coke machine...always a hit, in my opinion. Parking isn't always the best but this place worth it if you're hungry and want burgers and fries.

Is it a total cop-out if I say that Five Guys serves some of the best burgers, in my opinion? Is that sacrilege? If so, I am sorry. But that is how I feel. I can't help it. Five Guys, no matter what location, consistently serves up a damn good burger. I crave burgers a lot nowadays. I blame it on my workout routine. So while Five Guys is not the healthiest option, I like it for my burger fixes. My go-to: Little Cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard. Delicious. Some may complain the prices are a bit high, but I think they are fair. I mean, the "regular" size burgers actually come with two patties. And there are unlimited toppings. Fries are good too, and I don't normally care for thicker-cut fries. You can just tell that their fries are fresh. They're not too salty. Their potatoes are good quality. And yes, the portions are huge. Keep in mind that the regular size portion of fries is a mid-size cup (maybe 16 oz.?) filled with fries, plus some extra fries dumped into the paper bag. The little portion of fries is probably in an 8 or 12 oz. cup, same deal with the extra fries dumped into the paper bag. I don't even want to know what a large portion looks like. Also, I read Lindy F.'s tip that you can order the fries well done! Definitely trying that. There is also a Coke Freestyle machine so you can wash down that burger and fries with a vanilla Barq's root beer, like I did :) Not every location has the Freestyle machine, however. The decor is pretty stark white with red checkered tile along the front of the counter. It's cute and kitschy, very reminiscent of a diner. This is your place if you are in the mood for a good, greasy burger.

Took one of my besties out for lunch since she drove me to GSU and work cause I didn't want to pay for parking. Stopped by here since it was close to where I worked and she was really craving a burger. I've only eaten at Five Guys once or twice before this experience so I was somewhat still a newb, but I think Five Guys just might be my regular burger joint when I'm craving sometime quick, fast, and sometimes on the go. I got the single with everything but mustard and mushrooms, and added A1 sauce. I, personally, love A1 and I think it made the burger DELICIOUS. They also have a Smoothie King in the same plaza so you can treat yourself to a yummy smoothie after a yummy meal. :]

I love to eat burgers from Five Guys but damn, this place can be loud. Between the music being way louder than it needs to be and the cooks yelling just about as loud as it, it can be really hard to have a conversation. Everyone tends to be really nice here, which is common through all Five Guys' locations. I love having the option of so many toppings, and this place does the best job of keeping me from making a mess of myself. I love that they use nice big slices of raw jalapeno instead of pickled slices. They don't overdo it on the iceberg lettuce, which is a plus, because I always hate having it fall off all over the place. The fries are always wonderful too, except they can burn your hand off when you're trying to get down to your burgers in the bag. Oh, and they have Coke Freestyle machines so you can come up with some weird strawberry lemonade-Sprite combination. Going here before a trip to Trader Joe's is always a good thing. A good burger is necessary to keep myself from buying everything in my path. #Yelp365 - 54/365

I belized the hype about Five Guys and came back a bit disappointed. I got a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, grilled mushrooms, and jalapenos. The burger was good, but not great. The fries were mediocre and flaccid. The free peanuts were cool, but I am generally ambivalent towards peanuts. What really bothered me was the hubris of the place, displaying all of their approbations along the walls. That just built the hype more leading to a greater disappointment in the end. The best thing about the place was the Coke Freestyle machine. I was able to make my own personalized concoction using Coke-produced beverages. Extra diabetes with my meal? Yes please!

Had a burger and fries here, and the free peanuts. The burger seemed "healthy", for a burger, not greasy, and it had a good texture. Even with the standard condiments, it didn't have that much flavor though. I guess next time, I'll try some of the additional toppings, like onions and barbecue sauce. The fries were good, and the staff are always extremely generous with the fries. One disappointment--shouldn't a diner-style burger place have milkshakes???

I'll make sure to skip this location for the future.

Burgers

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.

Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top.
